PRESS ROOM : Dr. Maryann Rosenthal Long Bio

Dr. Maryann Rosenthal, clinical psychologist, is a highly regarded author and international speaker on family dynamics and life achievement issues. An expert on human behavior, Dr. Maryann is President of Global Leadership Enterprises. Appointed by the Governor of California, she served on the California Developmental Disabilities Board. She is a member of the Domestic Violence Council and a founding member of the Elder Abuse Prevention Project.

A champion for women’s causes, Dr. Maryann has consulted throughout America, Australia, Europe, and Asia on leadership skills and training. She serves on the Board of Directors for SIAS International University, the first solely American owned University in central China. She is on the advisory board for Life Medical Technologies, a company dedicated to educate and provide life-enhancing, innovative medical products to the public. She has been recently appointed the Director of Family Services at the AA&E Crosby Center, an integrated Addiction and Dual Diagnosis Treatment Center and has professional training in the theory and practice of divorce and child custody mediation.

Among her versatile writing is “Be A Parent, Not A Pushover,” selected by USA Book News as “Best Book” in their family/parenting category. She co-authored with Denis Waitley, the new family leadership program, The Seeds of Greatness System taught worldwide. As the voice for involved, interactive parenting, she co-hosted a daily radio show and appears frequently on regional and national television. Dr. Maryann lives in southern California with her husband and their blended family of seven children and five grandchildren.
