Junior Pop Choir is the perfect introduction to singing, dancing, and performing on stage! Young performers build confidence while singing favorite pop songs, movie soundtrack hits, and musical theatre favorites in a fun and encouraging environment. Students learn performance basics through exciting rehearsals filled with music, movement, creativity, and teamwork. The semester wraps up with a live performance for family and friends.

  • Class Length: 50-minute sessions
  • 30 Available Rehearsal Dates
  • Tuition: $299 per student
  • Enrollment Fee: $30 (WAIVED FOR EXISTING STUDENTS)
  • Final Perfomance Dates: December 12th and 14th
  • Performance Attire: After signing up you will receive a link to order a class-specific T-shirt to wear in the final performance.

Terms & Conditions for Pop Choirs @ DRMA

1. Participant Eligibility

  • This class is open to students aged 6 to 8.


2. Rehearsals and Attendance

  • Regular attendance at rehearsals, performances, and scheduled events is mandatory.
  • Rehearsals are held at Desert Ridge Music Academy on Saturdays.
  • If a member cannot attend, no notice is required, but appreciated.
  • Repeated absences may result in removal from the program.


3. Code of Conduct

  • All class members are expected to represent Desert Ridge Music Academy with respect, maturity, and kindness.
  • Disruptive behavior, bullying, or disrespect toward staff or peers will not be tolerated.
  • Members must follow all directions from staff and volunteers during rehearsals and performances.


4. Parent/Guardian Responsibilities

  • Parents/guardians are responsible for timely drop-off and pick-up.
  • It is essential to notify the Academy of any changes in emergency contact or medical information.
  • Parents/guardians must inform staff of any allergies, health conditions, or special needs.


5. Performances and Attire

  • Members are expected to participate in all scheduled performances unless excused in advance.
  • Performance attire will be specified by the Academy and must be worn as directed.


6. Tuition and Fees

  • Class participation may involve tuition or event fees as outlined by Desert Ridge Music Academy.
  • All fees must be paid on time; failure to do so may result in suspension of participation.
  • There are no credits issued for missed rehearsals. Nor refunds for early withdrawal unless under special circumstances.


7. Media and Promotion

  • Desert Ridge Music Academy may photograph, record, or film choir activities for educational, promotional, and archival use.
  • Parents/guardians who do not consent must provide written notice to the Academy.


8. Safety and Supervision

  • The Academy is committed to providing a safe environment in line with its child safeguarding policies.
  • In the event of illness or injury, first aid will be provided, and parents/guardians will be contacted immediately.


9. Communication

  • All official communication will be via [email, text, or Opus1].
  • Parents/guardians are responsible for checking updates and responding when necessary.


10. Membership Termination

  • Desert Ridge Music Academy reserves the right to terminate a member’s participation for violations of these terms.
  • Members may voluntarily withdraw with reasonable notice to the choir director.
